Lubomir Lizal, Senior Researcher and Professor of Economics at EI. His research orientation covers applied microeconomics and econometrics, transition, corporate governance and the recent focus is on environmental economics. Apart from directing CERGE-EI since 2003, he also serves at various governmental bodies, in particular the advisory committees at the Ministry of Environment. He has published numerous articles, mainly on economic transition, firm behaviour during transition with a special interest on corporate governance, privatisation and financial health of firms, and firms’ environmental performance.
